The new Palmscale 8.0 draws on all the previous generations of Palmscales. The PS 8.0 offers similar hyper-advanced features to the PS7 including dual line display with price computing functions and the ability to display 2 modes at the same time (eg both grams and ounces) but with further enhancements. One of the main upgrades for the PS8 compared to the PS7 is the original patented Palmscale Hydro Hinge which provides easy opening of the scale with just the flick of a button. The PS8 is actually the first Palmscale ever to be powered by AAA. Previous Palmscales were powered by Li-Ion button batteries or a proprietary rechargeable battery. The sleek chrome body and rubberized form-fitting casing makes it stylish and easy to handle. We kept the reverse lit display which is an amazing feature that makes the scale very easy to read in all weighing environments.

"The Palmscale 8 is a great upgrade to the Palmscale family. It packs the best features of both the Palmscale 7 with the best features and Hydro-Hinge of the Palmscale 6. The PS 8 is highly portable and I don't have to worry about it slipping and dropping it because of its rubberized case. It has a built in pair of tweazers and a plastic scoop so I don't have to worry about packing them along with it and maybe losing them. I've bought cheap scales before and sticky hinges or worn out hinges led me to look for something better, and this is it! The Hydro-Hinge is great because it makes scale set up a breeze and I don't have to worry about breaking it. Pack all that with an accurate scale like the PS 8 and you have one of the best and most advanced scales on the market. I definately recommend it!"
